Levida FAQ: lead generation, exports, API, and CLI questions

Find quick answers about how Levida works, what the dashboard does, how exports behave, and what to do if credentials are exposed.

What is Levida?

Levida is a lead-generation product that helps you search for local business leads, review them in a private dashboard, add notes, and export clean files.

Who is Levida for?

It is useful for founders, operators, agencies, and business development teams that need organized outreach lists.

How does lead generation work?

You choose a search method, enter one keyword or phrase, queue a job, then review the resulting leads in the dashboard.

What is the difference between region or city search and postal-code search?

Region or city search is broader. Postal-code and ZIP searches are better when you already know the exact territory you want to target.

What is the dashboard for?

The dashboard is where you review generated leads, filter results, load saved views, update notes, and prepare exports.

What does export do?

Exports let you download selected, filtered, or broader lead sets as clean spreadsheet-friendly files.

Why do websites show as Click Here in the dashboard?

The dashboard keeps website links visually clean for browsing, while exports preserve the actual underlying URLs.

Why do exports show the real URL?

Exports are meant for downstream outreach and spreadsheet work, so they keep the full website value instead of a shortened link label.

What is the API for?

The API lets authenticated users log in, validate requests, queue lead-generation jobs, poll status, and import existing leads programmatically.

What is the CLI for?

The CLI gives authenticated users a terminal workflow for login, generation, validation, imports, and job polling.

What is the difference between generate-leads and import-leads?

generate-leads runs new Levida searches. import-leads uploads lead rows that already exist.

How do I get support?

You can reach support, API help, and business inquiries at lvqlabs@gmail.com.

Is my data private?

Yes. Leads, notes, and exports are account-scoped, and public pages do not expose private dashboard data.

What should I do if a token or password is exposed?

Rotate the password, revoke or delete the exposed token, issue a fresh token, and review any logs or scripts that may still contain the secret.
